BENEFITS OF CMA PRODUCTS

CMA (Calcium Magnesium Acetate) is a manmade compound formulated to be a low corrosion deicer. CMA has been proven to exhibit extremely low corrosion rates on metals generally found in bridges, roadways, parking garages and other concrete systems. It is most commonly described as being as corrosive as tap water.  Switching to CMA on chloride-contaminated concrete structures will likely extend their useful life. CMA is non-corrosive towards steel reinforcement in concrete and can seize initial corrosion induced by prior use of rock salt deicer. Unlike chloride based deicers, CMA is safe to be used on new concrete.

VIPER ELITE

Viper Elite is a powerful, non-chloride, bio-degradable, potassium acetate based liquid deicing agent. Most deicers contain chlorides which can attack steel rebar in concrete, metal and machinery. Viper Elite is an effective alternative for bridges, parking decks, new concrete, helicopter pads and other corrosion sensitive areas. It is a clear, high performance deicer effective for treating sidewalks and entry-ways to eliminate tracking and other common issues inside a facility.  With an extremely low freeze point, it can be used as an  anti-icing and deicing solution. Viper Elite is safe on new concrete, pet and environmentally friendly with suggested application.

Viper Roof Roll REFLECTED.png

NEW IN 2018! Our VIPER ROOF ROLL™ is your premium, NON CORROSIVE, solution in preventing ice dam's this winter. Our Viper Roof Roll prevention option includes four rolls (approximately 21 inches long) that contain calcium magnesium acetate. Place the Viper Roof Rolls 12-24 inches above your downspouts or where you generally have ice build up through the winter months. The time released roof roll will release CMA and work from the bottom up so that ice doesn't adhere to the surface creating an ice dam or buildup. Calcium magnesium acetate is chloride and salt free and will not harm roof components. It is less corrosive than water and any runoff onto vegetation or new concrete is harmless. Pet friendly. Easy installation.
